John got me this ring as a push present. I love it! It's Trent's birthstone. When we were in Orlando, my friend Becki wanted to take pictures of John's ring and my ring on his toes, but since my wedding band and engagement ring still don't fit (ehem), we didn't end up taking any pictures. Thanks Becki for the idea!

Valentine's Day!

We had a wonderful Valentine's Day! John made waffles & eggs and we relaxed for a while with our little man. It was a nice day. I got a new camera for V-day from John! I love it.

Bad Blogger!!!

I know, I know, I said I was going to post pictures over the weekend but the weekend came and went, actually FLEW by and here I am on Monday night at 9:15pm and don't know where the time went. After I got home tonight, we had dinner, I took a quick shower and I'm forcing myself to post some pictures of Trent from the last few days.

2 Month Check-up!

Trent had his 2-month check up on Monday. I'm glad it was on a holiday becuase John & I both could take him. We're happy to report he's a healthy 2-month old, he weighs 12 lbs 4 oz and 24 inches long! more pictures to come...

Oops!

I've been a bad blogger this past week. I went back to work on Tuesday and have had no time after work to do anything other than the obvious, take care of Trent, eat dinner and go to sleep. I've had a pretty good first week back at work, and slowly getting into a routine. The commute to and from DC has been hectic due to the snow but other than that, things have been good.
I've been good about taking pictures every night so I'll be posting those sometime this weekend. These pictures are from 2/9 which I realize are a while ago but I wanted to post them anyway. My friend, Danielle got Trent this cute onesie with his name and B-day on it with matching giraffe socks! SO cute!

The last few days have been pretty uneventful, just the usual schedule with Trent.

2 Months old!

Our snow bear turned 2 months old today! I remember buying this cute snow bear outfit for him when I was 8.5 months pregnant, and shortly after he was born ( I think he was a couple weeks old), we tried it on him and it was way to big on him. Well today, we were going out for a car ride and I decided to give it another try and "Ta-da"!!! It fits him perfectly! and he looked soooo cute in it and quiet warm I'm sure.

We're expecting an additional 12-20 inches of snow tonight & tomorrow, hopefully it won't be nearly as bad as the load we got this past weekend. Our streets are still not cleared 100%, as a matter of fact it's more like 40%. It doesn't help that the temperature hasn't been above 35 the last few days. Everything is pretty much frozen. The DC Federal government has been closed Monday and Tuesday, but I'm not sure if they're shutting down tomorrow as well. we'll see...
