CAPS win game six in OT, Series Tied!

On another note, after 3 losses to the Penguins, CAPS won game 6 last night, 5 to 4 in OT. It was a very intense game!!! Game 7 here we come, Wed at 7pm.

Sunny Florida!

I'm flying down to FL tomorrow, for one of my best friend's weddings that I'm in on Friday. I'm so excited. She was one of my bridesmaids and now I'm honored to be part of her special day. I CANNOT WAIT! I know I'm going to cry when I see her walking down the isle.. i just know it!

The wedding will be at Oviedo and the reception is pretty close by at beautiful Lake Mary Event Center.

I'm also excited about spending some quality time with family. It's been a while since I've been down to FL, so it will be nice to soak in the sun and have some fun. John will not be joining me till Friday since he couldn't get leave till then.. but atleast he will be able to come down for the wedding on Friday.

Well, I'll try to post something when I get back, wedding pictures and other events while I was down there.

Where is the SUN?

It feels like it's been raining for the past month, although it's probably just since Sunday. Not only is it depressing and I'm less motivated to do anything! HA! and on top of that I just found out we probably won't be seeing the sun till Monday?!!?! I was hoping for a nice, sunny weekend. oh well! Such is life!

The Capitals have tied game 2 in the 2nd period, and we can't wait till they kick Penguins butt in the 3rd period. Showing our support from Norfolk! Wish we were at the Playoffs!

Mango !!!!

A Treat!

So I usually try eat my breakfast at home (which honestly NEVER happens since I'm ALWAYS running late) I wish I could blame Mango for that... but it's really my fault. lol or have some oatmeal and hot tea at my desk when I get to work. But today I was seriously craving a bagel from Panera. yum! So I stopped by and got a whole grain bagel with Honey Walnut spread ( my absolute favorite) and a Caramel latte! yum yum! me so happy!

Our weekend was good. John had duty on Saturday, so I got a bunch of laundry/cleaning/redecorating done around the house. Took Mango to the dog park but it started storming shortly after we got there... lost cause!

Yesterday, John got home around 7:30 and made us breakfast. :) he's the best. He makes the best egg sandwiches.. to die for. The rest of the day consisted of getting some errands done around Hampton/Newport News and getting lunch at our fav. Mexican restaurant!

Btw, did anyone watch 'Celebrity Apprentice'? 2 things. 1. I can't believe Joan Rivers is 75!!! holy crap I really wonder what she would look like if she hadn't gotten 'help' 2. I am glad she's going against Annie! (don't like her) :)
