Happy Monday!

Today was my first day at home alone with Trent. It went pretty good, he slept most of the day and I got a chance to get some stuff done around the house while he slept.

Ordinary Tuesday!

We didn't do much today, just hung out around the house, changed diapers, fed Trent, changed diapers, fed Trent,,, you get the idea. Here are a couple pictures of Trent just hanging out between feedings and diaper changes. :)

My mom finally made it to town today from Orlando. She was originally scheduled to fly in on Saturday, but thanks to blizzard of 2009, her flight got rescheduled to today. Here are a few pictures from last night and today.

Today was nice, we had a late breakfast and watched movies & of course hung out with our little man! He slept most of the day. The roads are clearing up slowly from the snow, & hopefully by tomorrow they'll be a lot better.

Snowed In!

We started getting snow last night around 9pm and we got about 15-16 inches total today. Phew.. John went out there and tried to shovel the driveway and his truck in the morning but by the afternoon everything was covered again. Also, my mom was supposed to fly in today from Orlando but her flight was canceled and rescheduled for Monday! :( All the airports in the area are closed today due to snow, so we just have to wait and hopefully by Monday most of the snow will be melted & the roads cleared.

1 week old!

Trent turned 1 week old yesterday! a whole week old! :)

Either hungry, or packing a dirty diaper or both! but not happy! poor baby!

Trent has been the perfect baby so far. lol I might be a little biased though... but everyone who has met him so far thinks so too. He hasn't been fussy at all, he sleeps, poops, eats and sleeps some more. hope I'm not jinxing his good habits. lol I can't believe he's going to be a whole week tomorrow!!! 7 whole days old! Welcome to the world Trent!

We're so lucky to have such great parents to help us out so much. My mom flew up from FL this past weekend and helped us out soo much! She's so in love with Trent...

My sister, Naseem finally got to meet her brand new nephew yesterday :)

John's mom flew up yesterday to help me out during the week since John had to go back to his ship in Norfolk. What blessing! Thanks Grammy! :)
